Events 2017

We have had two successful events in 2017.

Our most recent event – the Summer Networking Event of the Armenian Professional Society of Canada, took  place on August 19th, 2017. Prior to this, we had another Networking Event on May 13th, 2017.

Both of these were unstructured networking events, where introduction and talks were kept to the minimum, and most of the time was available for networking with fellow Armenian professionals. All participants made new connections and friends. There were also many attendees who were not members of our Society. Based on post-event survey feedback, both events were a resounding success. One hundred percent of responders suggested to be extremely or very likely to attend a future event.

During both events, the venue was provided at no cost by its generous Armenian owner, Ara Sahakyan.

Past events

In 2016, we participated in the Syrian Armenian Job Fair, and through these efforts, got to know 13 Syrian-Armenian refugees, many of them professionals who became our mentees.

In 2011 and 2012, we had smaller scale events, including a dinner-meeting in mid-town Toronto, and a gathering of healthcare professionals in a downtown conference room.
